Here’s another way to help you find out if there’s a market for your idea.

Go to http://ezinearticles.com/ or http://new-list.com/ and you can subscribe to e-zines that have your keywords as topics in them.

When these e-zines come in, you can check out what the competition are doing with the type of advertisements they are running.

Also go to different newsgroups such as http://groups-beta.google.com/and see what people are talking about, and what thair problems are.

If you can find a recurring problem being spoken about, then it might mean there is an opening for you to create a product you can create to provide a solution.

Don’t forget to look in Google and some of the other search engines to see how many people have paid for sponsored links.

If there’s no competion then it might mean that there is no market.

Competition is good! You want to find markets that people are already making money in, because this means there’s a market for your idea.

This a key point and one that is missed by lots of people. To many people look for markets where there is no competition and wonder why people aren’t buying their products. You have to be prepared to do some research.

Transferable skills can be defined as those skills or abilities that can be applied equally from one job to another. They are skills that graduates have gathered through volunteer work, sports, hobbies, community work, and can be used in their new careers. The importance of transferable skills for graduates cannot be overstated. There is a growing demand from employers, for strong graduates with desirable transferable skills.

In this day and age, employers expect graduates to not only have knowledge of their area of study or expertise, but to have the inherent and learned ability to adapt to the new working environment they will be joining, bringing exceptional communication skills, the ability to lead and be led, and the proven ability to function efficiently and effectively.

Transferable Skills and Education

Education does not mean simply to impart knowledge, but to contribute to the holistic development of the student. Skills, such as communication skills, planning skills, and multi-tasking skills, among others, are known as transferable skills, and are also alternately called ‘key skills,’ ‘generic skills,’ or ‘core skills.’

In the ever-changing employment market, there is an increasing need for graduates to move away from the conventional market, as there is a diverse range of jobs for them. Every Olympic athlete has at least one coach. The top ones hire their own personal coach.

I’ve had my own mentor-coach in network marketing since 1991. One person actually once told me he thought it was a weakness for “people like you to admit that you need a coach to help you.”

A weakness???

I replied that having a coach was (and is) one of the smartest things I have ever done.

A coach keeps you accountable and focused. There are just soooooo many opportunities in MLM to get sidetracked.

Pro athletes like Tiger Woods, Bobby Bonds, Peyton Manning, all the big stars, have several coaches. Each coach teaches their own specialty.

How To Choose A Coach

I’ve been married almost 35 years. If I wanted marriage counselling, would I talk to someone who’s never been married? How about someone who’s graduated from college with 3 or 4 degrees and never been married? Would I go to someone who’s been married for 2 years or 5 years, when I’ve been married for 34 years? Would I go to someone married 10 years, with no children?

Or would I talk to someone who’s been married 30 or 40 years or more and who has raised a couple healthy, happy kids?

Who would you want to get your coaching from? Somebody who has experienced it, or somebody who hasn’t?

Many of the coaches today in network marketing have NEVER built an organization! Or they built it 5, 10, 15 years ago, but they can’t build it today.

As the old saying goes, “if you can’t do, teach.”

So these MLM coaches go out and teach people how to do what they can’t do. What they did 10 years ago worked 10 years ago. But it doesn’t work today.

So instead of being on the cutting edge of technology and learning (and USING!) the state-of-the-art in network marketing business-building, they put themselves up as a coach.

I’ve even seen one coach who shows you his huge downline geneology. If you look closely, you’ll notice it’s from 12 years ago. He hasn’t done anything since.

If you’re going to be coached, you want to be coached by somebody who is doing it NOW, someone who is active today.

It’s crazy, but there are even people who promote it as a virtue that they no longer do network marketing. They’ll tell you now they can be objective. They’ll tell you that you don’t need to worry about them recruiting you into some other business.

Here is the truth: if you can actually do network marketing, there’s a lot more money in it than there is in coaching - AND you can do the coaching anyway, while you’re building your business.

So why isn’t this person in network marketing anymore?

Easy. It’s because they can’t do it. Plain and simple, they can’t build it.

It is completely insane to choose as your coach someone who is not currently successful at network marketing. You are being ripped-off, plain and simple.

I’ve even talked to a couple of these “unbiased” MLM coaches who don’t like network marketing. They don’t believe in it. Yet they will gladly take your money to coach you to success in network marketing!

One more thing … 90% of these coaches tell you that YOU have to change. They say you have to get out of your comfort zone, become this “A” type personality. And THAT is the reason it doesn’t work.

Those “A” personalities can go out and do anything and be successful at it. But 92% of the world can’t do that. And when you go out there telling them they have to change, it’s no wonder there’s such a high failure rate in network marketing.

Here’s What I Think:

1. You’re perfect just the way you are.

2. You need belief in yourself, belief in the business.
3. Learn some skills.
4. Take action.

And to coach somebody in network marketing, the biggest thing they need coaching on is their belief. They don’t believe in the industry, their company, or themselves.

Most top business people have (or once had) a true mentor, someone who’s done it before and knows what to do. The person with a mentor has a big advantage. Tom “Big Al” Schreiter was my mentor for 15 years, and I never even joined his business! I would be honored to be YOUR mentor, no matter what company you are in.

Matthew 27:50-54: “And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice and yielded up His spirit. Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks split . . .”

The crucifixion of Jesus literally was an earthshaking event. Meditating on the event, it appeared to me that creation trembled and quaked over what puny men had done to their creator, as though that when a nation rejects God, that nation invariably experiences upheavals and finally oblivion. As the Psalmist noted, “The wicked shall be turned into hell and all nations that forget God” (Psalm 9:17).

God takes a nation’s mocking of Him and what belongs to Him seriously. Belshazzar, the king of Babylon during the captivity of Daniel, learned this first hand. Daniel recorded that, some time after Babylon sacked the Jewish temple and carried off the consecrated worship accessories, “Belshazzar the king made a great feast to a thousand of his lords, and drank wine in the presence of the thousand. While he tasted the wine, Belshazzar gave commandment to bring the gold and silver vessels which his father Nebuchadnezzer had taken from the temple which had been in Jerusalem, and the king and his lords, his wives, and his concubines drank from them. They drank wine, and praised the gods of gold and silver, bronze and iron, wood and stone.

“In the same hour the fingers of a man’s hand appeared and wrote opposite the lampstand on the plaster of the wall of the king’s palace . . . Now all the king’s wise men came but they could not read the writing . . . Then Daniel was brought in before the king . . . [and said,] ‘You have lifted yourself up against the Lord of heaven. They have brought the vessels of His house before you, and . . . have drunk from them. And you have praised the gods . . . which do not see or hear or know; and the God who holds your breath in His hand and owns all your ways, you have not glorified. Then the fingers of the hand were sent from Him and this writing was written. And this is the inscription that was written: MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN.

“‘This is the interpretation of each word. MENE: God has numbered your kingdom and finished it: Tekel: You have been weighed in the balances and found wanting: Pares: Your kingdom has been divided and given to the Medes and Persians.’

“In that very night Belshazzar, king of the Chaldeans was slain. And Dirius the Mede received the kingdom, being about sixty-two years old” (Daniel 5:1-30). God’s warning to Belshazzar occurred almost immediately after the handwriting appeared on his palace wall. In a single night, the powerful, majestic, tremendously feared, presumably unshakable, Babylonian Empire toppled and passed into the shadows of history. “That very night” Belshazzar’s kingdom fell to the Medes and Persians.

Media was the ancient name for north-western Iran. The inhabitants were called Medes or Medians and were descendants of Noah’s son, Japheth. After the Medes participated in the capture of Babylon (Isaiah 13:17 and Jeremiah 51: 1-24) many centuries after their ancestor’s death, Darius the Mede - so-called because his father, Ahasuerus, was of Median ancestry - became the new ruler of Babylon.

Persian history began with the Indo-European nomads of South Russia, who most likely entered the Iranian plateau during the second millennium BC. The nomads, known as “Fars,” began their Iranian community as a small province on the Persian Gulf. Its people were of the Aryan race, descended from Japheth, the son of Noah. Their community was bordered on the north by Media, on the south by the Persian Gulf, on the east by Carmania, and on the west by Elam. Though at first, the Fars’ province was subjected to the Medes, after revolting under Cyrus the Great, it became the principle power in the conquering of Nebuchadnezzer’s empire. Known as the Persian Empire it became the most far-flung of the Oriental empires, conquering and ruling over all the regions from India to Ethiopia. Its capital was Susa, called in the Bible “Sushan the Palace” (Esther 1:2). Though seemingly all powerful, the Persian Empire was itself eventually was conquered and subjected by Alexander the Great in his quest for world dominion. He, in turn, died at an early age and his empire was partitioned by his generals, who ruled the divided empire in his stead. Each of these kingdoms eventually was conquered by Rome.

There is no permanency for a nation that forgets or out-rightly rejects God. In our era, the Soviet Union is a quintessential example of this truth. It leaders often vaunting their atheism, it disintegrated at the instigation of an American president who knew and loved God. Even so, America also is being weighed in the balances by God. And though we grieve to mention it, America also is found wanting. In the last several decades, our nation has had one president assassinated, one attorney general also assassinated, a civil rights leader assassinated, an entire administration quake and then fall, and an attempted presidential assassination.

In our lifetime, America has experienced race riots, youth rebellions, the undermining of family values, the abortion of millions upon millions of pre-born infants, the acceptance of the homosexual agenda, legal wedges driven between parents and their children, God shut out of the classroom and replaced by humanism, which is undermining our schools and all levels of our governments.

It may be a beneficial, though not very pleasant thing, to experience social earthquakes. I know a literal earthquake can be terrifying and I can think of nothing as attention-getting as one. I served a lengthy tour of duty with the U.S. Air Force, and was assigned to Japan, an island nation prone to devastating earthquakes. More than once I felt tremors under my feet. Imagine if you will, taking off and landing a plane, when the runway suddenly begins heaving and rolling. Thankfully, no one at our airfield ever was hurt as a result of an earthquake, but we certainly were apprehensive.
Yes, an earthquake certainly catches one’s attention, and this is what occurred at the crucifixion of Christ. “The earth shook, the rocks split apart, the graves broke open, and many of God’s people who had died were raised to life. They left the graves and after Jesus rose from death, they went into the Holy City, where many people saw them. When the army officer and the soldiers with him who were watching Jesus saw the earthquake and everything else that happened, they were terrified and said ‘He really was the Son of God!’” (Matthew 27:51-54; “The New Testament in Today’s Modern English”: The American Bible Society“).

There may be times when personal “earthquakes” shake our own lives. As we pass through them, it will stabilize and bless us to meditate on things that cannot be shaken:

The Word of God Cannot be Shaken!

In Psalm 138:2 David wrote: “I will worship toward your holy temple, And praise Your name For your lovingkindness and Your truth: For you have magnified Your word above Your name” (Psalm 138:2). “The New King James Version.”

We should permit these words of David to saturate our souls. He is exalting because God rests His reputation upon the truthfulness of His word. Governments may lie, persons may be untruthful, legislators and other may not keep their promises, but God’s word never fails; He rests His reputation upon His truthfulness. His word cannot be shaken. It never returns void.

The Word of Jesus Christ Cannot be Shaken!

Referring to His second coming, Jesus states: “But in those days, [Matthew 24: 29, includes the word ‘immediately’ before the following phrase] after the tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken. And they shall see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great power and glory . . . Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my word shall not pass away” (Mark 13:24-25 & 31). Our Lord assures us that His word is eternally more durable than heaven itself. It shall never pass away! As finite creatures, we find it impossible to fathom such mysteries.

How can the powers of the heavens be shaken, thereby creating what amounts to heaven-quakes? The Pulpit Commentary states: “The powers may here mean those great unseen forces of nature by which the universe is now held in equipoise. When the Creator wills it, these powers shall be shaken.”

How can words [promises] endure forever? As this author meditated upon this question, he concluded that this is possible only when an eternal redeemer such as our Lord Jesus Christ makes the promises. As to His other eternal promises to us, when he transforms us like unto His own image, we shall be continuing recipients of all of them, among them the promise that where He is we also shall be.

The Person of God Cannot be Shaken!

Some time ago, the author listened to a radio discussion by two liberal women ministers. They were discussing their plans to change the Bible by removing all masculine gender references to God and replace them with the neuter. Of course, we all realize that God is neither male nor female; He is God. Nonetheless, condescending to our finite comprehension, He inspired the Holy writers to refer to His in the male gender. Not only so, but He chose to send us His Son, in the form of a man. In doing so God did not discriminate against women; rather, he created in Jesus Christ the second Adam, to regain for those who trust Him that which the first Adam lost because of his disobedience.

God is eternally God, eternally the same. His person cannot be shaken or changed, nor can that of His Son. However, in condescending to take the form of a man, the Lord Jesus Christ made an eternal sacrifice by stooping to become eternally identified with us as the Eternal Man.

If you fly American Airlines, have good credit and are looking to open a new MasterCard account, using the Citi Gold AAdvantage World MasterCard application may fit the bill. It is one of several cards that Citibank offers that is designed for people who fly on American.

For each dollar you spend on the Citi Gold AAdvantage World MasterCard, you earn one mile of travel on American Airlines. You can also use earned miles toward hotel accommodations and rental cars. The maximum amount of miles you can earn in any given year is 60,000, but those miles have no expiration date so long as there is some activity on the account once during a three year time frame.

Citicard offers several AAdvantage cards, so it is important to note that the Citi Gold AAdvantage World MasterCard offers 12,500 bonus miles for the first purchase on the card! Its annual fee of $50 is waived for the first year, as well, and this particular MasterCard has no “pre-set spending limit”. (All that means is that you can exceed your credit limit on occasion, based on your payment history.)

Currently, the APR for the Citi Gold AAdvantage World MasterCard is 17.99%. For cash advances, the variable APR goes up to 22.99%. If you happen to default on the card, the variable APR can be raised to 31.99%. There are, of course, finance charges for any purchases that are not paid for within the first 30 days, and there are charges for other services like cash advances, foreign purchase and balance transfers.

So, if you travel, want to earn much needed bonus miles, and like the flexibility of having no pre-set spending limit, the $50 annual fee shouldn’t affect your decision about applying for this MasterCard. If you pay off your card each month, don’t normally spend more than $60,000 on a card per year (which will be the maximum limit of bonus miles you can earn), and like that there are no black out dates for when you can travel with bonus miles earned, you will definitely appreciate the Citi Gold AAdvantage World MasterCard.

The question all new Network Marketing Distributors ask when they get started is:

“Who Do I Know?”

In this mlm training article, we are going to go over the contact list. This is where you start “Digging for Gold” in your network marketing business!

Every name that you know is a gold mine. And most never dig it. This article will help you understand where the gold mine really is in your relationships.

INFERNO Secret:

It is NOT who you know. It is who your friends know, and then who THEY know, and then who THEY know, and then who THEY know.

It is called “Generations” in a memory jogger. You MUST dig into the generation structures of your memory jogger, and understand that it is sometimes 2-3 generations deep before you strike gold.

Your friends are a valuable resource to your dream, and many will help you build it if you ask them. These are people you want to begin sharing the life-changing message and products/services of your mlm company with immediately.

You will want to write down at least 25 people to start. And then build up to a list of 52 names, and eventually 100 or more.

Why 52 names?

There is nothing magical about the number 52, but it is used to help create a mental picture. The number 52 represents a deck of 52 cards. With your mlm program, you can reach upper network marketing leadership levels with the right leaders.

So picture yourself with a deck of 52 cards. You know that somewhere in that deck there are 4 “Aces,” and you need at least 3 Aces to maximize your success initially. You don’t know where the Aces are, but you know they are somewhere in the deck.

Imagine turning those cards over systematically one at a time, searching for those Aces until you find them. Go through your list of 52 names one at a time Just remember that there are also a couple of “Jokers” in every deck!

It may take one person 37 cards to find the aces, another 45, and then another all 52. But the aces WILL show up!

INFERNO Secret:

If you continue to flip the cards over, you WILL find the aces. If you continue to talk to people, you WILL find the aces.

This next step should be done with your sponsor face-to-face or on the telephone.

You will find that there are basically three people you will be talking to:

1) The people that are Motivated.

These are 20% of the people. They are motivated to grow, improve, and to increase who they are and where they are going in life. They will be very interested in what you have to say.

2) The people that are Curious.

These are the 30% of the people. They are curious about what you have to say, and curious about finding out more about your products. Many of these folks will end up being customers as well as distributors in your mlm business.

3) The People that are not interested.

These are the 50% of the people that simply are not interested in change and growth, and will not really listen to what you have to say. Get referrals if possible, sell them your products, but move on! They like where they are in life, and want to stay there for now. That could change. Don’t take it personally.

You want to find the people that are motivated for your network marketing business, and talk to them. They are the ones that want to do something with their life. The curious will want to know, and the uninterested will want to be negative. It will take a lot of conversations to find the motivated, but you will need a tool that can help you construct your mlm contact list.

Quit looking for the people you are looking for, and start looking for the people who are looking for you.
